Disney is always looking for new stories or unique takes on their old ones!
That’s why they just announced they will be making a live-action feature film entitled Cruella based on the villain Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmatians!
Though a live-action interpretation isn’t exactly new — since Glenn Close famously played the character in the 1996 remake — creating a story centered around her is a bit of a different take. Plus, Close is an executive producer on the new flick!
This seems to follow in the footsteps of the 2014 Disney movie Maleficent, which starred Angelina Jolie and was centered around Sleeping Beauty‘s main villain!
But these aren’t the ONLY Disney animated classics that are getting a live-action reboot as the company is actually planning to remake several of their films!
