Crying babies are definitely no fun. For the parents or people within earshot.
But does that mean these adorable little ones shouldn’t be allowed in some establishments just because their cries are sometimes a nuisance?
Questions like these are being asked after an incident happened this past Saturday night in Chicago at the restaurant Alinea where the parents of an eight month old baby were dining when all of a sudden their baby started crying slash yelling!
Other patrons of the restaurant were none too happy with their conversations being interrupted by someone who probably didn’t even have to pay the $265-per-head price which doesn’t even include tax or a tip!
After complaining to Chef Grant Achatz, the chef took to the internets to ask the world what they thought about all of the baby drama.
He tweeted:
Tbl brings 8mo.Old. It cries. Diners mad. Tell ppl no kids? Subject diners 2crying? Ppl take infants 2 plays? Concerts? Hate saying no,but..

The tweet prompted a flurry of replies from people who definitely thought banning babies from restaurants would be a really good thing! Very few tweeted in defense of the babies.
Well, that is until the baby who sparked all of this controversy jumped into the conversation, as well! Lolz!
Going by the name AlineaBaby, the parody account replied to a few of the chef’s anti-baby at fine establishment tweets. One example was when Chef Grant Achatz tweeted this:
Definitely not baby food… @AlineaBaby pic.twitter.com/jQBrp5DwGU

And AlineaBaby tweeted back
@Gachatz Guess I'll have to come back for that after I get my molars.

AlineaBaby also tweeted:
@blipsman To be fair, it's not my fault. I was up waaay past my bedtime. WAAAHHHH!

Lolz! That’s hilarious!
But back to the issue, do you think babies should be banned from restaurants?
Check out a short video with the chef who started this all by himself (below)!
