It’s not looking good for Cuba Gooding Jr.…
As police prepare to book the 51-year-old for allegedly groping a woman at a New York City club on Sunday, another woman has accused the American Crime Story star of touching her inappropriately.
According to sources with knowledge of the case, the second accuser claimed Gooding had grabbed her buttocks when she met the Academy Award winner at the Butter Restaurant in Midtown back in March 2008.
She decided to come forward after learning about the allegation that Gooding had grabbed a 29-year-old woman’s breasts at the rooftop bar Magic Hour in Midtown — the actor’s apparent groping grounds.

Officials said CGJ might not be charged for the 2008 incident because it took place 11 years ago, and New York has a five year statute of limitations on these types of alleged assaults. But it certainly doesn’t help Gooding’s case with the alleged Magic Hour groping incident, which was reported to police on June 9.
As we reported, the Jerry Maguire actor was said to have touched the accuser inappropriately as they were socializing at the venue. The woman reportedly then confronted him, and the two had to be broken up by security.
Gooding, for his part, has vehemently denied the allegations, claiming there’s video evidence that will exonerate him. In a video obtained by TMZ showing him boarding a flight to New York on Tuesday night, he said:
“I trust the system and I’m going to let the process speak for itself. There’s a tape that shows what really happened. You have to have faith in what people say.”
Sources say the star and his attorney are meeting with NYPD Special Victims detectives on Thursday afternoon to discuss the incident. He’s expected to be hit with misdemeanor forcible charges for the alleged Magic Hour incident.

The actor has been accused of sexual misconduct several times in the past. All of the allegations have similar circumstances: Cuba chats it up with women he meets at a bar and allegedly gets handsy with them.
Back in 2012, three woman said Gooding groped them at Maloney’s Tavern in Albuquerque, New Mexico. One of the alleged victims — named Sara — told Jezebel at the time:
“At about midnight on March 1st, Cuba Gooding Jr. waltzed into the bar we were at and proceeded to sexually harass a number of the [women there] and assault (punch) a [man] for attempting to take a picture of Cuba receiving a lap dance… The sexual harassment occurred when women would be taking pictures with him; he would grab butt cheeks during the picture taking and when women reacted negatively to that, he would proceed to either touch women’s breasts or tell them that he ‘loved them.’ He told me that he loved me because his wife’s name is also Sara. Classy.’”
Gooding had denied those earlier allegations as well.
We’ll see if more women come forward.
