This is some truly sad news!
Oscar-winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr. and his wife are calling it quits after 20 years of marriage!
Sara Kapfer is CGJ’s high school sweetheart and after dating as teenagers, the two were married in 1994.
But their love has apparently gone cold – Sara filed for a separation yesterday citing irreconcilable differences.
What a bummer!
Cuba and Sara have three children together, 2 of whom are minors. Luckily, Kapfer is seeking joint custody. According to the paperwork, child support will be determined at a later date.
This is such a tough time for a family to go through. We hope Cuba and Sara can work through this civilly and do what’s best for their kids!
