After an unsettling post on Twitter and Instagram, rapper CupcakKe (AKA Elizabeth Harris) has been hospitalized and confirmed safe.

On Monday night, the artist went on the tweeting site to write, “im about to commit suicide.” And only an hour later, she continued on IG with a repost, also adding the caption:
“thank you for everything y’all have done for me I really appreciate it”
A friend, comedian Elijah Daniel, kept Twitter followers informed following her concerning tweet, with it revealed that the Chicago Police Department arrived at her home to perform a wellness check, and that she was taken to the hospital.
CupcakKe’s repost to Instagram and tweet were quickly met with responses and comments of support from fans, and even comedian Kathy Griffin:

For those who don’t know, the Chicago rapper previously opened up about her depression on social media in August 2018:
So I wasn't gone say nothing but I try to be as positive as possible but I just want to say I'm at a very low & depressed point in my life , I didn't realize it until I went 4 days without eatting , I kn this may not make sense but food made me happy , people made me happy also

Her friend Elijah continued to keep followers updated with information, but shared that he was unable to get any additional details from the police following her wellness check and hospitalization:
