Michael Lohan just won’t give it up. The world’s best dad is at it again, blabbing to the media about his estranged relationship with daughter Lindsay Lohan.
Earlier this week, reports were that Linds and Daddy attended the same charity event in the Hamptons over the weekend. But, unfortunately for him, Lindsanity was none too pleased to see him there and spent the day avoiding him.
However, Michael says that’s just not true. In fact, he claims Lindsay invited him.
According to Michael:
“Lindsay called me up and invited me to come to the event. She told me she was going to the event and when she saw me, I walked up and kissed her and we walked over to a corner and sat down at a table together. We were happy to see each other.”
And then he goes on to talk praise about Lindsay’s on-again/off-again girlfriend saMAN Ronson.
Wow!
Michael says after the charity event he met up with Linds and saMAN for dinner. Adding:
“I had a talk with Samantha and I was wrong, I jumped the gun. I realized that all the things I’d heard about the drugs and the partying were a lie. I mean, she knows I’m Christian and there are certain things I don’t agree with. Maybe she was afraid that I would look at their relationship in the wrong way. But that’s not for me to judge. If my daughter’s healthy and happy and in a good relationship, I’m happy for her.”
Somehow, this sounds very mature of him, and yet very uncharacteristic of him.
