Dale Earnhardt‘s grandson was arrested in West Virginia last night after he was nabbed for a DUI.
His name is Bobby Dale Earnhardt, and yes he IS an aspiring race car driver — we just hope he won’t be behind a wheel for a while until he wises up to how dangerous drinking and driving is!
Currently, he’s a driver in the ARCA Truck series, which is extra scary considered he was pulled over by Charleston police for being hammered whilst behind the wheel. He even admitted he had been drinking, and then promptly failed a sobriety test with flying colors.
He was arrested and booked! No word yet on what his punishment will be, but if you’re willing to put not only your life but the lives of others in danger… well, we just hope it’s enough that he’ll NEVER do it again!
Plus, at least he isn’t the only Earnhardt out there that can carry on a respectful tradition!
