Now that another horrible massacre has scarred the United States, a lot of people are fed up with the nation’s lack of proper gun control.
Take Mayor Michael Bloomberg for example. New York City’s head of political affairs has had enough. In light of the tragic event, he released a statement calling for President Barack Obama and Governor Mitt Romney‘s attention:
“Soothing words are nice. But maybe it’s time the two people who want to be president of the United States stand up and tell us what they’re going to do about it, because this is obviously a problem across the country.”
While Romney has signed bans on assault weapons, he’s also apparently told the National Rifle Association that he would not pass gun control legislation if elected president. And we feel like they’re bankin’ on it if they’re spending an estimated $40M to help defeat Obama.
But politicians aren’t the only one complaining about this issue. Celebrities (and celebs who wish they were politicians) have stepped on the soapbox too:

And then Donald Trump tweeted about a different way to handle things:
“At least 12 dead and 50 wounded in Colorado–bring back fast trials & death penalty for mass murderers & terrorists.”
All inneresting opinions… inneresting indeed!
The movie theater massacre will no doubt play a large role in the upcoming presidential debates. And we can’t wait to see how those pan out.
