Some girls have all the luck! Grr!
Kristen Wiig’s got a new movie in the works called Imogene and so far, between the plot and the casting, this might end up being one of our favorite independent flicks of next year!
The movie’s about a woman (Wiiggy) who moves back home to New Jersey to live with her mother and crazy family. To say she is embarrassed by her fam is a complete understatement. As we understand it, these people make Snooki and The Situation look like demure aristocrats. Kristen’s “tacky Jersey Shore mother” will be played by Annette Bening.
Visions of Caroline Manzo anyone???
So naturally, Kristen’s character is going to need a distraction from all this insanity. Enter Darren Criss as a “younger love interest” for her to get her mind off her inappropriate mother.
Color us the deepest shade of green envy you can find!!! We’re so jealous!!!
But we’re thrilled Darren is making a move into movies! But where will he find the time between Glee and a debut album and possibly a stint on Broadway?!
Don’t tucker out, sweetie! We want to see more of you, but don’t stretch yourself too thin!
