Dave Chappelle‘s new Netflix special is getting a LOT of attention this week… and not all of it is good.
As we’ve been reporting, the longtime standup comedian and actor has been taking quite a bit of heat in the last few days over jokes he’s made in the new special, available now on the streaming site. And while quite a bit of the controversy so far has revolved around questionable jokes about Michael Jackson, this time, the former Chappelle Show star is taking his shots elsewhere!

Well, as you can see (above), Chappelle also took on Jussie Smollett‘s case and the Chicago police investigation following it up during another segment of the new comedy special — and it’s getting a LOT of people talking. It’s interesting, because this clip (which you can watch in full, at the top of this post) was mostly overlooked when the special first came out the last few days on the streaming service.
People were more apt to call out the longtime funnyman’s complaints about millennials, and other things he said that they had found controversial, to the point where outsiders have started to worry whether younger generations wouldn’t completely cancel Chappelle altogether from here. (And they still might!)
But the Smollett news mostly subsided for a while there, even with other things hitting the front pages from what must have been a fairly popular Netflix special. But, now, Dave’s take on the Smolltett case and this video trended in YouTube‘s top video clips for much of Friday and all day Saturday! WOW!!!
