If you hadn’t heard the upsetting news, turns out Dave Grohl is just another rock ‘n’ roll cheater.
The Foo Fighters frontman had a reputation as a cheater back in the day, ending some pretty high profile romances. He allegedly cheated on his first wife Jennifer Youngblood with Veruca Salt rocker Louise Post. (It was such a scandal at the time it caused Pat Smear to leave the band!) And Louise once claimed during a concert that he’d cheated on her in turn… with Winona Ryder.
But for the past couple decades Dave has been a total family man — all about wife Jordyn Blum and their family. The couple share three daughters: Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10. He told Time in 2012:
“When you have kids, you see life through different eyes. You feel love more deeply and are maybe a little more compassionate.”
Well… That deep love only keeps you so faithful we guess. Because soon his precious girls will welcome another sister. Just not with their mom.

Dave posted the shocking announcement on social media Tuesday, confessing he had not only cheated on Jordyn had also just sired another daughter outside the marriage. Yeah. There goes your hero, right?
In his post he said he would be a good father to the new baby — but also made clear he was trying to keep his family together, too. He pledged:
“I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”
Hmm.
If you were wondering how uphill a climb this was going to be, think ROUGH. Like free soloing Everest.
His daughters haven’t spoken out yet. But they have given us a major sign. The girls seem to be too upset for words at the moment — they’ve gone dark. Both Violet and Harper have deactivated their Instagram accounts in response to the news. And Violet deleted her TikTok as well.
We imagine the 18-year-old will be hit hardest of the three. She looked up to her father and has even been following in his footsteps. Just last year she performed with him onstage at Glastonbury. They’ve been so close. This is such a massive betrayal not just of Dave’s wife but of his daughters, too. We mean, they’re his biggest fans, right? He had to know what this would do to them if it ever got out, and he still couldn’t help himself. Oof.
