After having his name brought up several times, Dave Portnoy is telling HIS side of the story!
ICYMI, Alix Earle and Alex Cooper‘s feud took a sharp turn into ANOTHER feud between the Call Her Daddy podcast host and Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia. The Barstool BFFs star came online to publicly defend her good pal Alix, to which Alex then leaked TONS of DMs between the two. Brianna had called her a “mean girl” — and Alex didn’t seem to like that, so she shared all their texts that seemed really friendly!
But then Brianna fired back again, doubling down on her stance that Alex is a total mean girl out to get her! She even said in a video that her Barstool Sports pal Dave told her some tea on Alex:
“It’s not my story to tell so I didn’t tell it. From what Alix Earle told me, Alex Cooper is a very, very mean person. Or maybe when Dave called me when Alex signed Grace [O’Malley] to Unwell and she called Dave and said, ‘I don’t give a f**k about Grace. I don’t give a f**k about Brianna. All I care about is making money.’ Yeah maybe my f**king narrative switched on you after I found things out about you.”
OMG!
And now, Dave has officially entered the chat! He posted a TikTok on Thursday sharing a screengrab of his DMs with Brianna, and offered an explanation on it all. He started the video by saying:
“I just saw Brianna’s response to Alex Cooper … Brianna just spilled my f**king tea, what the f**k?!”

He then shared a screenshot that showed some messages he sent to Brianna, saying he was in “love” with the messiness of it all. And Brianna even said she “f**king hate” Alex’s “guts”. See the grab (below):

Funny she says they “aren’t involved at all”… Well, girl, you both are now!!
So, in Dave’s POV, what happened? He explained:
“Alright, here’s the tea on that, this is something I did not spurt but yes … this is how it went down. When O’Malley went to Unwell and everyone was burying Chickenfry, me and Cooper had a conversation. And she’s like, ‘I’m gonna do an interview with O’Malley and let her tell her side of the story’.”
He didn’t like that idea, though. He explained that he thought it would make Brianna look bad — so he made a different suggestion. After trying to get Grace to go on his network several times to no avail, he decided maybe Grace and Brianna could go on Call Her Daddy together to make things fair:
“Me and Cooper came to an agreement. If O’Malley wouldn’t go on with Bri, then she wouldn’t put O’Malley on without Bri. Maybe I was like, ‘I’ll go ballistic if you do that.’ Maybe. Cause I was protecting Bri a little bit … O’Malley wouldn’t agree to go on with Bri so neither of them went on. That’s how it ended.”

Oof! Well if Dave did “go ballistic” on Alex we can see how that would cause such a strong reaction from her! If anything, this could potentially explain her alleged harshness. It didn’t sound professional coming from Alex, that’s for sure, but when you’ve got a guy in your ear like Dave going “ballistic” — We’re just saying, we understand why Alex might’ve snapped!
So, maybe that settles that… But seriously, Alex doesn’t seem like she wants all this drama to stop like she claimed! She’s got two different dramas going at once now and they don’t seem to be ending anytime soon. We haven’t even seen Alix’s response video yet.
