David Beckham is ready for his Elle closeup!
The UK edition of the magazine has revealed the football star will appear on the cover of the July issue, making him the first male to score a solo cover.
Elle said the July issue will be “a nod to the Olympic Games by featuring a global icon famous for both his style and athletic prowess” and because he’s really hawt. Natch.
David’s shoot went down in El Lay earlier this week and says he’s “honored” to be Elle‘s first.
And so are we!
Be on the lookout for Golden Balls’ cover when it hits newsstands on May 30th.
