Wow! We guess it was worth waiting through the production delays!
David Tennant, who is the former Doctor on the UK series Doctor Who, has reportedly joined the cast of Peter Jackson‘s The Hobbit as Sindarin Elf King Thranduil!
Inneresting! Especially because that character in the series is the father of Legolas, which MAY explain why our beloved Orly is making a return appearance in the prequel!
Meanwhile, we’ve gotten word that Sir Christopher Lee, who portrayed the evil wizard Saruman in The Lord Of The Rings trilogy, is in talks to reprise his role for the new film, as well, so long as he is in good enough health to travel!
Honestly, we don’t think we could be anymore excited for this movie!
If all the pieces fall into place, this could not only match the level of awesomeness put into precedence with the original trilogy – but dare we say SURPASS it!
Thoughts??
