The CHiPs star appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show on Monday and took the opportunity to address some articles that have come out in the past couple years claiming the hot Hollywood couple are SWINGERS!

Speaking with Drew about the life he and Kristen lead behind closed doors and all the rumors associated with it, he dished:
“There was the most exciting tabloid story that we were Hollywood swingers and we hosted swing parties.”
Yeah, we’ve definitely heard open relationship talk. Never full-on parties, but yeah. He continued:
“This was in the tabloids, and my favorite part of that happening was we got a lot of texts from other friends of ours saying, ‘How could you not have invited me to the swinger party?’ I mean, they were teasing of course because they know us and they know we’re not hosting swinger parties, but I just thought that was great to receive a text from [Jimmy] Kimmel saying my feelings are quite hurt that Molly and I weren’t invited to this swingers party was very funny.”
LOLz!
But note he said they’re “not hosting swinger parties.” So no, they’re NOT swingers! Or at least that’s what they want you to believe! Ha!
Drew did ask — if they were swingers — if there are any couples he and the Forgetting Sarah Marshall star “fantasize about getting in bed with.” And he admitted:
“There’s a lot of hot couples out there, but no, we haven’t crossed that divide with anyone. But you know who we’re most in love with? We’re in love with Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen. Oh my god, they’re so dreamy as a couple. You just kind of want to be in their marriage. It’s not so much that Kristen even wants to bring me along or I want to bring her along, you just kind of want to be in their marriage.”
Ooh, good choice! Few couples have aged as well…

Last summer, Dax and Kristen touched on the swinging rumors during an episode of his Armchair Expert podcast. Apparently, the two enjoy joking about having “key parties” with their friends. She said:
“We’ll have a dinner party or something and, as we’re sitting down, you’ll say, ‘Everybody leave your keys.’ Like, you use it as a joke.”
But the jokes don’t always land as Dax pointed out that not everyone has “the same sense of humor.”
Who knows… Maybe it’s only a “joke” when they get rejected? LOLz!
