DC Comic Character Is 'Coming Out,' So You Better Get This Party Started

This is just SUPER!!
DC Comics — you know, the guys and gals who publish Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman — just announced that one of their characters will “come out” as gay in an upcoming issue.
The company is keeping the whens and whoms close to the chest but they have announced a major, pre-existing character will be re-written as gay.
While it’s not uncommon for long-standing characters to change their age, race, or even gender in between issues, the flip-flopping of sexual orientation will be a first for DC.
We applaud them, but why now??
The publishers cited President Obama‘s couragous public support for same-sex marriage as an inciting incident.
There’s only one important question left… WHO???
Catwoman? Dick Grayson? Krypto the Superdog??
