The new season of Deadliest Catch is coming out soon — and their plans to honor Todd Meadows have been revealed.
The new season of the hit reality show will return on Discovery Channel on May 8. The new episodes will premiere at 8 p.m. EST/PST, and they are confirmed to feature Todd’s scenes he filmed before his tragic death.
In case you didn’t hear about it, Todd sadly drowned after falling off the Aleutian Lady on Alaskan waters while filming the new season. Cameras were said to be rolling at the time, but, of course, the footage won’t be released. However, the show is still going to do their best to honor Todd in the footage they do have.

The network confirmed it will be airing the scenes Todd filmed for the show just weeks before the incident, while the first episode is said to feature a tribute to the late deckhand. The episode will also tackle how his passing has affected the Aleutian Lady crew and the fishing community as a whole.
