Controversial court documents are on the table!
As Tori Spelling deals with her husband’s cheating and erratic behavior on True Tori, more details are coming out about Dean McDermott├óΓé¼Γäós awful ways before they were married…
And these allegations could be even more scandalous than what’s currently being talked about!
According to newly released court records, Dean’s first wife, Mary Jo Eustace, previously accused him of cocaine use, lavish spending, scary anger issues and even animal cruelty.
As many know, the TV host dumped his wife after having an affair with Tori in 2005 — and these documents have been under lock and key since the divorce.
According to Mary Jo’s explosive 2005 declaration, she recalled a moment in 1999 where Dean first admitted to his extensive cocaine use, and asked for help:
“I called a friend who had a cocaine addiction, who helped Dean McDermott get into a support group. Dean McDermott committed to the support group and controlling his addiction to cocaine ├óΓé¼┬ª for a while.”
But the support group only masked the problem for a little bit! Mary Jo revealed that after coming home from a trip in 1999, she was more than worried after Dean relapsed and had a huge party in her absence.
On top of that, Dean was an impulsive spender, causing Mary Jo to be responsible for all bills.
After the divorce proceedings had begun, the ex-wife confessed that she believed Dean was self medicating, which lead to most of his outlandish behavior:
“As a result of my knowledge and experience in connection with Dean McDermott├óΓé¼Γäós prior use of cocaine, alcohol and anti-depressants/prescription drug medication. I believe Dean McDermott is medicating himself without the supervision of a doctor and that this is one of the recent causes of his recent erratic behavior.”
The worst part about all of this, though, was that Miz Eustace ignored what she called “red flags” when the duo first started dating — which included Dean getting very aggressive with his dog:
“I noted [his] awful temper. We had a lunch date, and afterwards went to his house in Toronto to feed his dog. The dog had gotten into the garbage. Dean McDermott repeatedly and violently beat the dog with his fists and with a rolled up magazine. Dean McDermott was furious and it was very intimidating incident for me to witness.”
Just disgusting!!
This, on top of everything currently being exposed on True Tori, makes our hearts hurt for all the kids!
Hopefully Dean is getting the help he needs.
