Just as fast as they were on, they’re now OFF!
Demi Lovato and Austin Wilson have reportedly called it quits after going public with their relationship in November.

A source shared with People regarding the split:
“She’s concentrating on herself and her work right now, as well as focusing on her relationship with God. She’s excited for what this next chapter in 2020 will bring.”
Neither Lovato or Wilson have commented publicly just yet, but they did each scrub their social media profiles of any photos with the other, and that’s always a fairly telling move when it comes to breakups. However, it appears the Confident songstress did send an Instagram DM to a fan regarding the breakup:
“? Please don’t go after him. He’s a good guy. Much better than what people see on the outside just because he’s got a lot of tattoos.”
Aww!! A good lesson for us all!
She continued with a second message:
“Breakups are hard for both parties involved. Just stay nice and say prayers ?”
Per a previous source, the 25-year-old was a “good influence” on Miz Lovato, and were introduced through her new group of sober pals. The insider spilled to E! News “the romance was a whirlwind and they became romantic very recently.”
Cute!! Apparently, achieving sobriety had helped strengthen their connection, as Wilson could “relate to her on that level and has been very empathetic to her struggles.”
“Demi loves that they share the same values and are on the same page about their health and wellbeing. Demi thinks he is a good influence and a positive light to be around.”
Judging by her DM, it seems things ended fairly amicably, though we can’t help but wonder what really went on behind the scenes. The songstress has been doing a LOT of work on herself over the past few months, and it looked like her relationship could have been a catalyst for that. In November, Demi opened up to Teen Vogue about her journey to body acceptance:
“I think it’s been a very introspective year for me. I’ve learned a lot, been through a lot. We hear the term body positivity all the time. To be honest, I don’t always feel positive about my body. Sometimes I do not like what I see. I don’t sit there and dwell on it. I also don’t lie to myself. I used to look in the mirror if I was having a bad body image day and say ‘I love my body, you’re beautifully and wonderfully made.'”
Let’s hope she keeps up the great work in her recovery journey!!
