Demi Lovato‘s friends may not be her real friends…
As we reported on Tuesday, the Sorry Not Sorry singer was hospitalized following an apparent overdose at her Hollywood Hills house.

Before EMTs entered her residence, the musician was reportedly unconscious and revived by friends with Narcan, a drug used to treat narcotic overdoses.
According to a People report published on Wednesday, the songstress and friends were on a “binger” prior to the alleged incident (TMZ says Lovato was at Saddle Ranch celebrating the birthday of one of her backup dancers).
As reported earlier, her pals had a strong inkling Demi would succumb to drugs, which is why they had Narcan on hand, with a source further revealing:
“She and her ‘friends’ were on a binger the entire night… They keep Narcan on hand for such situations – they were prepared for this. The people she has been hanging around lately aren’t her real friends – they don’t have her best interests at heart. She’s pushed her true friends away.”‘
Not only has she reportedly “pushed her true friends away,” Demi has allegedly had to resort to new methods in order to obtain drugs. The source explains:
“She had to find creative and sneaky ways to get drugs because her team and those that really care about her really try to keep a close watch on her.”
A different People report says “things [with Demi] have been a total mess for months,” adding:
“She and her team severed ties, and they played a large part in getting her sober years ago. She hasn’t been in a good place.”
On Tuesday, Demi’s rep released a statement saying she is “awake” and “with her family.”
