We just can’t get enough of her winged eyeliner — and when we say “winged”, we mean SO winged that it practically looks like Dem-Dem’s eyeballs are about to fly away!!

Obviously we don’t know the exact coloring of Demi Lovato’s look since her entire spread was shot in black and white, but we’ve selected a monochrome palate to go with the monochrome vibe of this particular issue!
So here are the steps to create a similar look:
First, if you’re going to wear a lot of dark eyeliner, it’s important to have extra flawless skin.
Just look at Demi’s — smoother than a baby’s bottom!!
Use some foundation (1) to even out skin tone, and even put a light amount of foundation around your eyes to help create a base for the eyeliner and eyeshadow.
Next, the eyeliner:
To successfully recreate Demi’s dramatic eyes, you’ll need a liquid eyeliner with an EXTREMELY fine tip (4). Start by lining your lower lids, and bring the line out approximately a centimeter past the outside edges of your eyes.
Line your upper lid as well, and continue to sweep out thin lines that are parallel to your initial lower eyeliner. Continue this all the way to the top of your eyelid.
Then, lightly dab a bit of the dark gray eyeshadow (5) on the eyeliner to help it set. Try to get the shadow to fade out across the wing, like Demi’s does:
For a little extra drama, secure on some fake lashes (2). Finally, line your lower waterline with white eyeliner (7) to really make your eyes pop. If you want more definition between your eyeliner lines, you can carefully draw some white between the black lines as well.
As for the rest of Demi’s makeup, it’s clear she used a subtle blush or bronzer to help define her cheekbones. Brush some bronzer (6) right below your cheekbones to create the same effect.
Last but not least, Miz Lovato’s eyebrows are so incredibly dark and defined in this spread that they distinctly show through even the darkest mesh:
Get your brows to look like hers with some dark brown or black brow pencil (3), depending on how dramatic you want to go.
