Last night was a big night in the sport of baseball.
New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter wrapped up his incredible career with a game-winning single in the bottom of the ninth, giving the Yankees a 6-5 win over the Baltimore Orioles.
It was perfection that only Hollywood could dream up├óΓé¼┬ª unless you’re Derek Jeter!
While it was his last game in NY, we have to let the fans in Boston know that the shortstop plans to be a designated hitter when the Yankees go to play the Red Sox “out of respect for the Red Sox, their fans and the rivalry.”

Because he’s just that classy!
Following the game, celebs were tweeting about dazzling moment, and one fan even caught Jeter’s model girlfriend Hannah Davis and her nephew bouncing around, supporting The Captain!
