Diddy is demanding one thing right now from Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones amid their lawsuit battle!
As we previously reported, the music producer sued Diddy for $30 million in damages back in February 2024 for alleged sexual harassment and sexual assault, as well as drugging and threatening him. Rodney claimed the 56-year-old music mogul forced him to find sex workers, pressured him into engaging in unwanted sex acts with them, harassed and assaulted him multiple times, and more.
Diddy, who is currently serving a 50-month sentence after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, vehemently denied all the allegations in the case, insisting it is “nothing more than a transparent attempt to garner headlines” and get “an undeserved payday.” The pair are still battling it out in court two years later. At the moment, the Making The Band alum is specifically fighting Rodney over his medical records.

According to TMZ on Thursday, Diddy wanted Lil Rod to turn over those records months ago, but he failed to do so. Rodney was allegedly supposed to sign off on a release to provide access to his files in November. However, the rapper claimed the release was not in compliance with the regulations for the privacy of the records. He now feels he shouldn’t have to hand over a bunch of documents and answer questions for Rodney, calling the discovery requests abusive and improper.
Additionally, Diddy said Rodney asked him to answer questions about Cuba Gooding Jr., who allegedly had been involved in one of the assaults on the producer. In the suit, he claimed that despite rejecting his advances, The Butler star “began touching, groping, and fondling [his] legs, his upper inner thighs near his groin, the small of his back near his buttocks, and his shoulders” while on a yacht rented by Diddy in the U.S. Virgin Islands in January 2023. But Diddy argued that seeking any information about the alleged conduct or statements of third parties, including Cuba, is improper.
At this time, Rodney hasn’t responded to the latest accusations from Diddy. What are your reactions to the update in the case, Perezcious readers? Let us know in the comments (below).
