UPDATE 3:15 P.M. PST: It appears Diddy will stay in a jail cell until his trial! On Tuesday, the music mogul desperately attempted to remain free and begged for bail, even offering a $50 million package to secure his release. That package included putting his mansion in Miami, worth $48 million, and his mother’s home, worth $2 million, as collateral. But the judge refused to grant him! Diddy will now remain in detention in New York while awaiting trial.

Diddy just pled not guilty to all the charges against him.
On Tuesday afternoon, the embattled music mogul made his first appearance in court in Lower Manhattan in NYC. There, as expected, he entered a plea of not guilty on the charges of sex trafficking and racketeering that he is now facing.

From here, the rest of the afternoon’s hearing will be devoted to Diddy’s lawyers and the prosecutors alternately arguing in front of a judge about whether he ought to be let out on bail, or if he must stay in jail while awaiting future court dates and a subsequent trial. Diddy is offering to put up his $48 million Miami mansion as collateral, per TMZ. He wants to be allowed to be allowed not just out of jail but also to be freed to fly from NYC to Miami and back! Wow… Brazen considering the charges and what a flight risk he obviously is with all that money…
