Diddy Requests Bail For FOURTH TIME -- Details!

Diddy is not giving up the fight to be released from prison.

As we’ve reported, the music mogul has been trying to get out on bail since his arrest for sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy charges in mid-September. However, several judges denied his requests — all three of them — due to the allegations of witness tampering and obstruction of justice.

After being shot down three times, you would think Diddy would have given up already, but he is not. He is hoping the fourth time’s the charm! According to legal documents obtained by multiple outlets, his legal team filed a new motion in Manhattan federal court on Friday asking for bail again. And they have pulled out everything they could to try and convince the court to release him, this time.

The Associated Press and USA Today reported Diddy’s lawyers offered a “far more robust” bail package than before to ensure he does not try to flee the country or intimidate witnesses ahead of his trial in May 2025. They offered “full home detention” at his home in Miami “or at a suitable location in New York” with strict 24/7 security monitoring and restrictions on his ability to contact anyone – except for his lawyers.

Like prior requests, he also would not have access to the internet or phone and asked for a pre-approved visitor list of select family members. He agreed to surrender the passport belonging to him and his family members. Per USA Today, his family visits would be monitored by assigned security. Diddy also would undergo “testing for a prohibited substance” as needed. When it comes to the money? The amount in the package remains the same. As the attorneys proposed before, they’re willing to shell out $50 million for his release.

But get this. Per AP, they then argued that new evidence “makes clear that the government’s case is thin.” According to the attorneys, that evidence refutes the claim Diddy brutally attacked his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in a hotel hallway in March 2016, shown in that horrifying video, during a coerced “freak off.”

In the indictment against the Bad Boy Records founder, a freak off is a drug-and-alcohol-fueled sex party where he allegedly forced men and women to perform non-consensual sexual acts, often filming them. But the legal team insisted what occurred then was not part of an alleged “freak off.” Instead, the lawyers said the encounter only showed “a minutes-long glimpse into a complex but decade-long consensual relationship”  between Diddy and Cassie. Hmm.

And there is more. TMZ reported that the attorneys cited in the legal docs other cases where defendants accused of similar crimes were able to post bail while awaiting trial. For instance, they mentioned a case involving a CEO accused of sex trafficking dozens of young men, along with an accomplice who allegedly intimidated witnesses. Diddy’s team pointed out that the government only asked for a $10 million bond and a $500,00 bond respectively – which is WAY less than what Diddy has offered in his case.

And what’s more? AP reported the lawyers argued the conditions in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn violated his right to be able to participate in his defense. With all this in mind, they feel he should be released from prison immediately.

Wow. Diddy is really determined to get out of jail soon. But will it work this time? We will have to wait and see what happens next, but he has not gotten his way so far! What are your thoughts, Perezcious readers? Let us know in the comments.
