Since Diddy was arrested for sex trafficking and racketeering last month, very few celebrities have spoken out — including those who had a close relationship with the music mogul (like Jennifer Lopez) or attended his parties in the past. Yep. It has been radio silence from many stars, with them not even coming out to say they never saw anything nefarious going on with their own eyes while at a Diddy party. Just like Nick Cannon, who said he had “nothing to hide,” did! And many people want to know why. Well, now we are getting some possible answers.

According to TMZ on Friday, he required party attendees to sign non-disclosure agreements. Of course, NDAs are normal in Hollywood. Even the outlet pointed out that the document is a pretty standard non-disclosure agreement! Diddy’s NDA prevents partygoers from sharing any information about him, his family, current or former partners, spouses, friends, or business associates. No one can even photograph, film, or record Diddy or those in his inner circle without his written consent, nor can they post photos on social media sites like Instagram, Twitter (now X), or Facebook.
And there are more rules from there. Attendees were also forbidden to give interviews, write books, or share any information about Diddy or the parties — unless they got written consent from Diddy. As we said, it is your standard NDA. The rapper attempted to cover his bases legally and say anyone attending these parties needs his written consent to disclose any details. But given what we know now in light of his indictment and assault lawsuits, it has a more sinister undertone, especially when you factor in this next wild detail…
The agreement ensured what went on at these parties or with Diddy and his inner circle would not be shared with the public for a loooong time. TMZ reported that the NDA lasts for the life of the artist plus 20 years after their death or a total of 70 years, depending on which happens first! Damn! NDA lengths vary from agreement to agreement, but Diddy’s is very long. Now, we know why. He most likely didn’t want his alleged crimes to get out…
Of course, his NDAs haven’t stopped people from coming forward with their Diddy party stories. We have heard about several people’s experiences over the past couple of months, including most recently from John Legend’s manager and an ex-dancer, who was forced to watch J.Lo videos before hooking up with the Bad Boy Records founder.
