Thursday may have been Halloween, but the real scare was going down in a courtroom, at least for Diddy! Why? Cause Courtney Burgess, a man claiming to have Diddy’s sex tapes, testified in front of a grand jury!
According to TMZ, Courtney told reporters outside a federal courthouse in Manhattan that he had been contacted by agents from the Department of Homeland Security and subpoenaed. They requested he “turn over all records, including thumb drives, hard drives, electronic storage devices, or devices containing videos and/or other files depicting Diddy.”

This includes several sex tapes he claims Diddy’s ex Kim Porter gave him before her death, as well as her real memoir. Speaking on NewsNation‘s Banfield after testifying on Thursday, Courtney revealed that Kim gave him 11 flash drives prior to her death from pneumonia in 2018. This allegedly included eight sex tapes featuring eight celebs, six men and two women with “two to three” of them being minors. He said “all of” the celebs appeared to be under the influence in the clips and that they appeared to be “victims” and NOT “perpetrators.” Jeez.
While the witness claims to have seen the footage, he told News Nation that he is no longer in possession of the tapes, though his attorney Ariel Mitchell-Kidd claims they have evidence to back up some of his allegations, per TMZ. After testifying, the duo went to another hearing to determine what, if any, evidence they needed to turn over to the feds, Ariel told TMZ. Huh…
Ariel opened up about Diddy’s sex tapes in October, telling the New York Post that one of the male stars was “more high-profile than Mr. Combs.” She explained at the time:
“I can verify that it exists. That it’s real and that the other person in the video is very visible. There’s no question of if it’s that person in the video.”
The star in the tape is said to be “horrified” by the threat of the videos getting leaked, with a source saying he “feels like he was victimized years ago and is now being victimized yet again.” Oof.
That said, Puff Daddy’s lawyers called Ariel’s comment a cry “for publicity and attention.” The rapper has denied all the allegations levied against him. He is currently being held in jail without bail for sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution charges while many sexual assault lawsuits pile up.
Amid his legal trouble, a so-called fake version of Kim’s memoir, Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey for Justice, from the other side, was pulled from Amazon last month after the couple’s kids claimed it was not real. The book was published by Chris Todd under the pseudonym Jamal T. Millwood. He claimed Kim gave a thumb drive of her writing to “close friends” before her death and that that same individual was in possession of sex tapes they were willing to hand over, which the model allegedly made copies of as protection amid a plan to leave the musician. It’s unclear if Courtney has any ties to Chris.
Courtney’s lawyer told Banfield that he received the original manuscript “in its complete form” — which was seemingly written by an unidentified woman — and Courtney then gave the book “to someone else who then edited it.” Courtney, who says he was one of Porter’s former associates from when he worked in Atlanta, noted he received the manuscript from “a man, someone she [Kim] was dating,” but that he had spoken with Kim just hours before he got it, so he believes she really wrote it. Ariel is planning to talk with Amazon and figure out how to get the unedited version published, she told TMZ, and it seems the feds want the book, too. Hmm.
If all this is true and authorities get their hands on this content — especially those sex tapes — this could be really bad for Diddy’s case! Hear the witness open up more (below):
