Kate Walsh May Have Gotten Too Close To Co-Star For Comfort

So was it an on-set affair that ended Kate Walsh‘s blink-and-you’ll-miss-it marriage to studio exec Alex Young?

A “friend” is telling Star Magazine that the actress and Private Practice co-star David Sutcliffe had been cozying up on set, working on their chemistry even after the director yelled “Cut.”

The loose-lipped friend added, “Kate really likes David, and knowing that didn’t help Alex’s fragile ego. Kate and David had a real connection playing lovers on the show, and she didn’t seem to have that with her own husband.”

Taking a page from the Brangelina book now, are we?

Update: A rep for Walsh exclusively tells PerezHilton.com, “There is no truth to this at all. The Star never called us for comment.”
