Dog Elected As Mayor Of Colorado Town! All Politicians Should Be Dogs!

In a little mountain town called Divide in Colorado, Pa Kettle, a bloodhound, has been elected mayor!
He won more votes than the ten other animals running for the unofficial title in an online race.
So what does a Colorado dog mayor do? Try to legalize and tax catnip? LOLz!
The town doesn’t actually have a mayor so the dog’s political responsibilities are few. The election benefits the Teller County Regional Animal Shelter, with every vote cast raising a dollar!
It also raised awareness for Teller County Search and Rescue, which Pa Kettle works for as a search-and-rescue doggy.
Pa Kettle won with 2,387 votes, beating out Kenyi the wolf by only 55 votes! Wow, what a close race!
The dog is replacing the previous mayor, a three-legged cat.
We hope he doesn’t have any leg humping political scandals! Politicians are always trying to bury their bone.
Hopefully this pup only does it for real, in the dirt. LOLz!
