Congrats to Duane “Dog” Chapman, and his wife Beth, on their triumphant return to television!
The Chapman family — best known for their wildly popular former TV show Dog The Bounty Hunter — are retuning to television in 2019 with a new show called Dog’s Most Wanted.

Filming is set to begin in “early 2019,” according to reports, and both Dog and Beth posted on social media to celebrate the good news (below):

That’s great! Good for them!
The new show will follow Dog, Beth, and the “Dirty Dozen,” a team of bounty hunters helping the Chapmans track down the “most wanted criminals in the country.”

Previously, Dog the Bounty Hunter had primarily focused on the Chapmans’ extensive ties to Hawaii and Colorado, where they kept homes. Now, Dog’s Most Wanted has gone national!
Gavin Harvey, the president of WGN America, seemed excited about it in the news release announcing the show on Monday:
“America has been captivated by Dog, Beth and their dramatic true-crime experiences for over a decade. In this brand-new series, millions of Dog and Beth fans will join them on bigger hunts, pursuing more dangerous criminals, with a supporting cast of tough-as-nails crime fighters.”
Wonderful!
There’s one more thing, though… Beth has been dealing with “incurable” throat cancer over the last several months, and the public prognosis at various points has been grim.
Neither Dog nor Beth mentioned the cancer fight today alongside any show promotion, so it’s difficult to know if the cancer has backed off, or they’ve decided to go forward in spite of it, or what.
Regardless, it’s a great day for Dog and Beth; say what you will about ’em but they’ve certainly found their niche on reality TV, and it looks like that’ll keep going in 2019!
