Dolce & Gabbana Appear To Have Changed Their Anti-LGBT Family Stance With This New Capsule Collection Featuring Same-Sex Couples

Dolce and Gabbana release LGBT family capsule collection.
How far they’ve come!
Almost a year ago Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce made headlines and a lot of people very upset when they referred to babies born via IVF as “synthetic” and went so far as to condemn gay adoption.

Elton John even led a boycott of all Dolce & Gabbana products!
The designers later attempted to clarify their initial comments, although Domenico continued to draw a line between “traditional” and LGBT families.
So it’s quite interesting to see their new capsule collection with images of same-sex and mixed race couples and their children on handbags and clothing posted on Stefano’s Instagram on Thursday.
The captions accompanying the pics simply say “#dgfamily” with no further elaboration.
If these pieces are anything to go by, it truly seems that the former romantic partners have reconsidered their earlier horrendous views.
Moreover, the images of the collection were coincidentally released a few days before Italian politicians are expected to vote on a measure that would allow same-sex couples to have civil unions and possibly even be able to adopt children.
A spokesperson for the brand reiterated that the designers would not comment on the message behind this line, and that the items would be available in stores in a few days.
Well, they may not want to comment but it sure appears they’ve changed their tune from a year ago!
Check out more pieces in the gallery (above)!
