Bananas!
Italian powerhouses Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana are going ape shiz over a South African gift shop’s name, Dolce & Banana.
Although we think the name is pretty darn clever, Dolce & Gabbana‘s holding company Gado didn’t, and have hit the small business owner Mijou Beller with a lawsuit citing monkey business “objectionable conduct” causing “diluting” of the iconic brand.
Fearing further litigation, the owner has since changed the name of the shop to … & Banana.
Absolutely ridic!
