Dolce & Gabbana Under Fire For Racist #DGLovesChina Campaign

dolce & gabbana dgloveschina controversy

Really, Dolce & Gabbana?
Followers are calling out the Italian fashion brand on social media for being racist after the release of their #DGLovesChina video campaign featuring an Asian model trying to eat Italian foods, including an oversized cannoli and pizza, with chopsticks.

The brand has since deleted the videos from their Weibo (a social networking site popular in China used as an Instagram alternative) account, but they still remain up for shaming on IG.
The D&G  brand isn’t new to controversy, between Stefano Gabbana calling Selena Gomez “so ugly” on Instagram, and Miley Cyrus “ignorant,” for calling out their politics following the brand turning a boycott into a moneymaker when Melania Trump wore a design.

According to Fashionista, the brand is set to host a show in Shanghai on Wednesday, but we’re not sure how well that will go considering this campaign…
