Why should Stormy Daniels have all the fun?!
The former Playboy model who alleged she had an affair with Donald Trump and was contractually silenced by The National Enquirer is suing the paper’s parent company so she can finally share her truth.
On Tuesday, Karen McDougal (above) filed a lawsuit against American Media Inc., which paid her $150,000 for her story about the alleged affair and then refused to publish it.

According to the New York Times, McDougal claims she was misled by American Media about the contract, in which she received the $150K for her “exclusive life rights” to any affair she had with a married man and to write a few fitness columns for the paper. (She has written zero fitness columns since the contract was signed.)
The model — who last month told The New Yorker that the purported coverup took her took her “rights away” — also claimed that American Media warned her that further disclosures would break her contract and “cause considerable monetary damages.”
This only heightened the model’s initial fear that even mentioning POTUS’s name would result in legal ramifications, hence why she’s aiming to restore the right to her own voice with this new lawsuit.
Peter Stris, McDougaul’s current lawyer, told the Times that American Media carried out a “multifaceted effort to silence” his client, elaborating:
“The lawsuit filed today aims to restore her right to her own voice. We intend to invalidate the so-called contract that American Media Inc. imposed on Karen so she can move forward with the private life she deserves.”
We guess she isn’t trying to be the next Stormy Daniels, who is seemingly enjoying time in the spotlight amid her similar fight to break an NDA she claims bars her from speaking publicly about her alleged affair with the Philander in Chief.

McDougal and Daniels both claim they had an affair with Trump in 2006, a year after he married Melania Trump. The alleged mistresses have made similar claims about their courtships with the Big Cheeto, like being showered with golf course related gifts and dates at the same Beverly Hills hotel.
Trump, for the record, has denied both affairs.
Hopefully McDougal gets out of this contract, so we can hear every disgusting detail about the affair, like we deserve she can move on with her life, like she deserves.
