Are you kidding with this s**t, Donald Trump?!
Even when this man does something right, he immediately finds a way to f**k it up! And we’re all finding that out once again because of what he did with this completely staged “situation room” photo that’s spreading around the internet like wildfire this weekend!

Things all really started late on Saturday night, when the Cheeto-in-Chief tweeted this cryptic, vague, mildly concerning message out to the public (below):
Something very big has just happened!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 27, 2019
Uhhhh… OK, so, could you tell us a little more???
…He never did, but soon thereafter the world learned that American special forces ran a mission that resulted in the death of high-profile ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, which the US quickly celebrated as a major victory against terrorism. Presumably, that’s what Trump was tweeting about.
On Sunday morning, then, Trump returned to Twitter to speak about the raid, and al-Baghdadi’s death, in a long-winded press conference that you absolutely don’t need to watch because it offers little substance, but we figured we should put it here just for the record, anyways (below):

Yeah. OK, fine. Surprisingly, this raid marks a bit of a foreign policy win for Trump, who has been losing at pretty much everything lately.
This raid isn’t as impactful or significant as when Barack Obama gave the go-ahead for special forces to raid and kill Osama bin Laden, but hey, it definitely is a good thing when it comes to stopping ISIS. And we suppose you take what you can get with this current weirdo in the White House.

Anyways, the actual controversy was just beginning here, and this one is STRANGE!
Later on Sunday morning, one of the President’s staffers tweeted this pic (below), purportedly from the situation room during the raid itself:
— Dan Scavino Jr. Archived (@Scavino45) October 27, 2019
…on the Joint Staff, at right, Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019, in the Situation Room of the White House monitoring developments as U.S. Special Operations forces close in on notorious ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s compound in Syria with a mission to kill or capture the terrorist.

OK then. But that picture is not all that it seems… not even close, in fact!
First off, there’s something funny about it. If this really were the situation room during the attack, why aren’t the generals, like, looking at their computer screens, or monitoring developments on a screen somewhere in the room, or even on the phone? Why are they all sitting calmly, and posing for the camera? And why is Mike Pence looking off to the side like a scared toddler???

Quickly, rumblings came that the photo itself was a total fake, simply staged for social media. And then came the proverbial bomb that made this whole thing go viral…
The former Chief Official White House Photographer, Pete Souza, confirmed straightaway that the photo itself was staged, because it was taken about an hour and a half after the actual raid — and the actual killing — would have taken place (below):

Ohhhhhhh no!!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHA!! Are you seriously this superficial, Donald?!?!
As it turns out (below), the President was golfing at his own private golf club until 3:30 pm local time, so he wouldn’t have been anywhere close to any situation room to monitor the raid:
According to the public schedule, they left the golf club at 3:33pm. They reported the raid took place at 3:30pm. An hour and a half later they staged the photo. pic.twitter.com/WUvytlCiwR

What. A. S**tshow.
Obviously, Trump again wanted his “Obama moment” — this time, one reflecting the moment Obama (and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton!) were in a real situation room monitoring developments in real time about Osama bin Laden’s death (below):
The propaganda never ends with the Trump admin.

One of these photos is staged. @PeteSouza’s photo was taken from the corner of the room since he was trying to stay out of the way.
Everyone in the @realDonaldTrump photo is looking straight at the camera, the photographer would‘ve blocked the screen Obama et al were looking at pic.twitter.com/nFQfmQl4Pz

Yeah, it’s pretty easy to compare and contrast those two things, isn’t it?! One’s real, the other’s fake. One shows a level of competency, the other, uhhh, not so much.
This Trump guy… even when he wins, he loses. What a freakin’ clown!
