Donald Trump Fires Secretary Of State Rex Tillerson Ahead Of North Korea Meeting - & Here├óΓé¼Γäós A Look Back At Everyone Who Has Left The White House!

Donald Trump announced Tuesday that he fired Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and will nominate CIA Director Mike Pompeo to succeed the oil tycoon.
A senior administration official said that Trump “thought it was the right time for the transition with the upcoming North Korea talks and various trade negotiations,” but according to Tillerson’s aide, the State Secretary is unaware of the reason behind his firing.
In his Twitter announcement, Trump added that Gina Haspel, the current CIA deputy director, stands to become the next director of the agency.
This shake-up comes months after reported tension boiling between Tillerson and the Big Cheeto — and, perhaps more alarmingly, hours after Tillerson promised to get to the bottom of the poisoning of an ex-Russian spy that he said “clearly” appears to have come from Russia.
But POTUS doesn’t want you to think about all that! Speaking to reporters at the White House on Tuesday, the president said that “Rex and I have been talking about [his departure] a long time,” adding:

“We were not really thinking the same. With Mike Pompeo, we have a similar thought process├óΓé¼┬ª I think Rex will be much happier now.”

Yes he will! Along with Steve Bannon, Anthony Scaramucci, and all the other former members of Trump’s administration who have heard that sweet Apprentice catchphrase!
