This is just cringeworthy.
On Monday morning, thousands of children headed to the White House in order to participate in the annual Easter Egg Roll. In fact, many people were suspicious about whether or not Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, would be able to pull off the event since numerous White House staff jobs still remain vacant. TBH, it probably doesn’t help that Mrs. Trump still lives in New York… but, we digress.

Nonetheless, the Trumps hosted a “downsized” version of the egg-stravaganza on the South Lawn. Of course, with Donnie being Donnie, things started out pretty awkward!
With almost 21,000 children and adults in attendance, the Trumpster thought it would be a good idea to subtly bring up his recent military decisions. Again, this is a family event.
The President noted:

To make matters worse, while the national anthem played, Melania had to remind the Commander-In-Chief to put his hand over his heart (below).
