What was Donald Trump doing instead of attending the White House Correspondents Dinner?
While Samantha Bee and Hasan Minhaj were roasting the administration’s fact-challenged first 100 days, POTUS himself was holding a rally he hoped would overshadow the WHCD.

As such, Dishonest Donald tried to play up the size of the crowd gathered at the Farm Show Arena in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, saying:
“They have a lot of people standing outside. We really maxed out. We broke the all-time record for this arena. We broke the all-time record.”
While that wouldn’t exactly be an astounding feat for the 7,600-seater, even that was total bullshit. Jonathan Tamari, a Washington correspondent for the Philadelphia Inquirer, was inside the rally, sharing photos disproving the President on Twitter:

Thing is, there IS a big crowd here. A loud and excited one. POTUS could easily – and truthfully- talk about that. But has to claim more.
