ICYMI: Trump Tower Evacuated Due To Bomb Scare -- Watch The Intense Footage!

no title
Employees and tourists at Trump Tower had a scary incident on Tuesday afternoon when the Manhattan building was partially evacuated in a potential bomb scare.
The New York Police Department Bomb Squad responded to the scene “out of an abundance of caution,” according to a Twitter post from NYPD spokesperson J. Peter Donald.

Donald Trump was not in the 58-flood skyscraper at the time of the evacuation, which was partially seen in a video shared on social media that showed guests running out of the hotel lobby as police urgently told them to exit.
However, all was deemed safe when officials found that the suspicious package was merely an unattended bag of toys that posed no threat. (We’d say the bag was left behind by Santa, but it wasn’t full of coal.)
Donald shared in an update:

According to the Washington Post, Trump Tower’s lobby is accessible to the public from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. under the terms of a city agreement — which makes securing the building a big, tricky task for NYPD and Trump’s new Secret Service.
The President-elect has been spending the holidays at his Palm Beach, Florida resort, though Trump Tower serves as not only his residence, but the offices for both his business and transition teams as he prepares from his January 20 inauguration.
We’re glad everyone in the Tower is safe and there was no real threat. Check out footage of the scary evacuation (below).
