Dorothy’s Oz Dress Sells For Nearly Half A Million!

Wow, wow, wow!
Somewhere over the rainbow in Beverly Hills, a lucky person is the new owner of Dorothy Gale’s blue gingham dress from The Wizard of Oz.
Judy Garland‘s iconic dress sold this weekend at Julien’s Auctions for $480,000, just $20,000 shy of the $500,000 estimate.
Hey, that’s still a lot of ca$$$h for a 73 year old dress, Toto!
We’re sure it will be the perfect addition to one of Tinseltown’s silver screen collectors. Or maybe it will be a really expensive Halloween costume next year. Ha!
