It’s so crazy how someone can keep a secret like this for five long years!
Marc Summers, you may know him as the former host of Nickelodeon‘s Double Dare or Food Network’s Unwrapped, recently announced he was diagnosed with cancer five years ago and is currently in remission.
The 63-year-old host opened up about his battle on Monday morning in Philadelphia during a radio interview with WWMR‘s Preston and Steve and talked about why it took him so long to publicly announce this news.
He said in their chat:
“I thought it was time to come out.
I’m not covering up anymore – I’ve had it, I’m in remission and … I’m ready to move on.”
Thankfully Marc was able to get through this difficult time in his life with the support of his family.
