This is the most life-like cake we’ve EVER seen!
In order to celebrate the Season 5 premiere of Downtown Abbey on January 4, Georgia Public Broadcasting commissioned this cake from Karen Portaleo for an event they were hosting!
We’re so glad they did because this cake is both the most impressive and terrifying thing we have ever seen, like, EVER.

According to Karen, the bust-cake of Maggie Smith as the Dowager Countess took about 18 hours to complete and was comprised of vanilla cake and buttercream with an Earl Grey tea soak!
How freakin’ impressive is THAT?!?
Seriously! The attention to detail is downright stunning, but DAMN is this cake FREAKY looking!
