Drake may be putting on a brave face and pretending he’s not bothered by it all. But his own bruised ego betrayed him!
Days after Kendrick Lamar absolutely eviscerated the Nonstop rapper with his Super Bowl LIX performance, Drizzy is doing whatever he can to convince himself it’s not so bad. As a recap, K-Dot rapped his notorious Drake diss track Not Like Us — the one in which he calls the God’s Plan rapper a “certified pedophile” — and the roaring crowd joined in to sing the lyrics. But was the crowd really THAT loud?? Were they that into it? Maybe not — or at least that’s a conspiracy theory Drake is apparently giving credence to.

You see, Twitch streamer Kai Cenat attended the Super Bowl, and afterward he went live while rewatching Kendrick’s performance. But there was one aspect of he felt differed from the live event: the cheers of the crowd! He claimed:
“Okay. Oh, my god! They added sound effects to this NFL s**t. Oh, my f**king god! All right. So, right here, there was no sound. I just heard crowd sounds, on my life, right here, there was no sound. F**k! They added crowd effects? I did not know that!”
So they made a minor tweak to the sound, eh? That’s what’s known as “sweetening” in the biz — adding more applause after the fact. It’s the same thing the Fox broadcast has been accused of doing when Donald Trump was shown on the jumbotron to mask the booing.
Apparently some folks who didn’t like the Kendrick performance are convinced — or trying to convince themselves — that it wasn’t that well-liked by the 65,000+ crowd. @rapcrd clipped the segment and posted it on Instagram, and guess who liked it?? Yep, DRAKE did!

Oh, boy… We guess maybe this wild conspiracy theory is helping his hurt feeling??
Unfortunately liking the post just further proves how much he must have been broken by the whole thing. We mean, if he needs a salve on his ego… right?
