We love her SO much and we are positively ELATED for her!
As we mentioned back in August, the amazing Duchess of Alba is a Spanish aristocrat with MORE titles than anyone in the world! She has over 46, which include “duchess,” “countess,” and “marquesa.”
We also mentioned that the 85-year-old Duchess had plans to marry 61-year-old “commoner” Alfonso Diez, making him the Duke of Alba.
Now, the day has finally arrived, and the Duchess was officially married today in front of family members and close friends at Palacio de las Duenas, her 15th-century residence in Seville!
We understand that some of her children are uneasy about the marriage, and they’re worried about the way in which the Duchess is splitting up her wealth…but ya know what? She’s 85 years old and she’s found someone new in her life! She looks VERY happy, and we think it’s fantastic that she’s giving herself a fresh start at her age!
Congratulations, Duchess! We love you and we’re SO happy for you!
