Lemony Snickets!!!
Back when we found out Neil Patrick Harris would be playing the diabolical Count Olaf in Netflix‘s A Series of Unfortunate Events, we couldn’t help but wonder how the actor would compare to Jim Carrey.
Carrey already slayed the role in the 2004 dark comedy with his cartoonishly evil portrayal, which set the expectations high for NPH’s incarnation of the malevolent caretaker.

But after watching the first teaser that features the How I Met Your Mother star in character, we can at least say he TOTALLY looks the part!
In the new clip, we finally get a better look at Count Olaf as he meets the Baudelaire children — and just like the eerie mansion he lives in, Harris’s Olaf looks exactly like his evil predecessor! (Those eyebrows tho!)
