Fast 8 Production Team Takes The High Road With Facebook Post Thanking Vin Diesel AND Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson -- But Is The Beef Over??

no title
At the end of the day, the Fast & Furious cast are thick as thieves — if thieves have 20-inch biceps that is…
At least, that’s how the production team wanted to make it seem in the wake of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson‘s not-so-subtle beef with franchise star/producer Vin Diesel.
Last week, the WWE star went on a social media rant where he called out an unidentified male costar “chicken sh*t,” which many sources claimed was a jab at Diesel — who seemed to confirm the spar by responding with a video post on Instagram.
After costar Tyrese Gibson chimed in taking the xXx star’s side, The Rock seemingly tried to bury the hatchet by posting a positive vid on IG talking about the cast as his family.

And now, it looks like the Fast and Furious Facebook page is trying to repair the rest of the damage from the head on collision of its leading alpha males.
Sharing a photo of the Fast 8 cast, the production team wrote:

“For our final #FastFridays post, all of us in the Fast Family wanted to thank you for coming on the ride with us during this epic production├óΓé¼┬ª Everything we do comes from our shared passion to bring you the very best.”

The caption then thanked certain people by name, including Diesel and Johnson — as well as new cast members Charlize Theron and Scott Eastwood:

“Thank you Vin, who has been at the wheel since this journey began, first as star and then as producer├óΓé¼┬ª Those who’ve joined our family along the way: Tyrese and Chris from Miami in our second film; Dwayne and Elsa, who came on board in Rio in movie five; Jason, Nathalie and Kurt from last time around; and our newest members Charlize, Scott, Kristofer and Helen…”

Hmmm, it sure sounds like the team is trying to smooth things over between the two action stars.
Sure, things are probably cooling off now that filming is done, but who knows what will happen when the two reunite for the next installment?
