Not everyone can say they’ve been stabbed by a royal!
Although, Ed Sheeran is hesitant to talk about the sword incident involving Princess Beatrice. As you may recall, the Shape Of You singer was forced to get stitches after Prince William‘s cousin accidentally sliced open his face with a sword after reportedly pretending to knight James Blunt.

So crazzzzzy! Initially, Taylor Swift‘s bestie stay pretty tight lipped about the cut and previously told BBC’s Radio 1 that he was sure “he can talk about that.”
Thankfully, Mr. Sheeran has decided to drop a few deets about the insane story as he dished during his interview with Absolute Radio:
“I got hit in the face and I was like, all right, OK, and then started carrying on and then I looked down at my shirt and it was just completely covered in blood… And everyone was kind of gaping open-mouthed at me. What have I got a nosebleed or something? What’s happened?”
Poor thing!
Still, the scar the 25-year-old got from the incident, does make him look pretty badass. See there’s a silver lining here! And it seems as though Ed is handling the aftermath of the injury quite well, as he quipped to radio DJ Andy Bush:
“James Blunt would like me to tell everyone that it was him and he was trying to reclaim his pop career by killing me.”
HIGHlarious!
However, we doubt Princess Beatrice is laughing. We mean, we bet she got reprimanded pretty badly by her grandmother Queen Elizabeth II. Merp…
