Such a happy couple!
Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish hosted one of the hottest Oscar parties in El Lay last night, and it sounds like they’ve been planning another bash!
While the proud daddies have had a civil partnership since 2005 across the pond, they want to renew their vows and also get legally married in California!
When gay marriage finally gets legalized in the state, the couple plans to go ALL out with a massive ceremony and celebration!
Last night, David stated:
“Los Angeles is like a second home to us. We have a civil partnership… and when we go back to Britain, we will definitely renew our vows under the gay marriage act, but, to do it here in Los Angeles, which is a second home to us, we├óΓé¼Γäód love to do it here too! Let├óΓé¼Γäós renew those vows everywhere they become legal!├óΓé¼┬¥
LOVES it! Sounds like an AHmazing plan to us!!
David continued:
“It is one of the pivotal defining issues of our time and this moment has arrived and even though we have our relationship legally recognized, people are fighting hard for this issue everyday and deservedly so. If we can give it profile and support, we├óΓé¼Γäóll continue to do that.”
Dayum right, David! We appreciate and applaud the couple’s efforts toward marriage equality everywhere!
Now, let’s get that legalization rolling, shall we?!
