This is the type of glamour we expected yesterday!
Well, Emily Blunt certainly delivered, but Meryl Streep‘s outfit was… interesting, to say the least.
The actresses chose far simpler attire early Wednesday for the Into The Woods photocall in London, but later that night for the gala screening, they brought out bigger guns (metaphorical style guns, that is)!

Emily dazzled in a white bodycon David Koma dress adorned with gold and silver embellishments that subtly caught the light — we know she doesn’t play a princess in the movie but she could have!
Meanwhile, Meryl opted for a long brown coat with delicate pleating throughout that resembled ripples on sand.
The design itself wasn’t bad except that the silhouette was ultra oversized and swallowed up her petite frame!
We can’t in good conscience say that we like it.
