Lindsay Lohan and Estrella Archs‘s collection for Emmanuel Ungaro has hardly been hailed a success. The collection has been on the receiving end of some pretty harsh criticism across the board, but this is one critic whose opinion is particularly important.
The brand’s namesake, Emmanuel Ungaro had stayed mum on the situation throughout the entire debacle, until now:
“Lindsay Lohan’s collaboration was a disaster. I am furious but I can’t do anything about it…. [My vision] is in the process of losing its soul…That happens to a lot of designers. We were the creators and patrons, responsible for the creation and destiny of our houses. But when we gave up our houses, we gave up our souls.”
Ouch!
